Parking during the regatta

Kelly Drive will close after the Friday morning rush hour, about 9 am, and remain closed thru Sunday evening. Once the Drive is closed, parking will be permitted on Kelly Drive. Only boat trailers and regatta officials will be permitted to park in the Canoe Club parking lot. Vehicles with boats carried on the top will be permitted into the Canoe Club parking lot to drop off their boat but must then depart. Parking will be very tight in the Canoe Club parking lot. If you are arriving before the Drive closes, we recommend you park in the parking lot near the grandstands and finish line and walk back to the Canoe Club.
Diagonal parking is permitted on the river side of Kelly Drive, from the Canoe Club to Fountain Green and Grant's statue. Cars must have an IDR parking pass to get thru police barricades at Strawberry Mansion bridge. Parking on the grass is strictly prohibited; violators will be ticketed. Kelly Drive will stay closed overnight. We will have extra security overnight.
