Register now for two exciting regattas this fall to support Philadelphia Children’s Foundation and Philadelphia City Rowing! Your participation will help implement educational programs as well as introduce the sport of rowing to the youth of Philadelphia!

  • The Turn and Burn Regatta will take place on September 18th. Masters, high schools, and colleges are invited to attend this unique event. The first portion is a 2 mile turning race followed by the ‘burn’, a 500m sprint race.
  • The Philadelphia Children’s Foundation Regatta is on October 23rd, for masters, high school, and college crews. This race is a traditional 2 ¼ mile head race and is held on the same day as the Head of the Charles, giving local crews not going to Boston another racing opportunity.
9th Police District Philadelphia - good info. Commodore John Hogan met recently with Capt. Dennis Wilson. He wants to hear about any problems along Boathouse Row. There are some good crime prevention tips on the site. And some surprising crime statistics from the area.
